Steve Kesler, C. Eng, Ph.D, B.Sc
President, CEO and Director
Kesler is a chartered engineer with over 34 years of international experience in the mining industry. Kesler holds a B.Sc in Mining Engineering and a Ph.D in Mineral Technology from Imperial College, London. Kesler has held senior positions at URS Corporation (President - Mining), Washington Group International (Executive Vice President Business Development - Mining), Billiton (Executive Director Base Metals and New Business), Pacific Nickel (CEO), Collahusai (CEO), Escondida (Vice President Business Development) and Rossing Uranium (General Manager and Director).
David B. Rovig, P.Eng.
Chairman
Mr. Rovig has been the President of Greystar since 1994. Prior to this, he held senior positions with Crown Butte Resources Ltd., Plexus Resources Ltd. and was a director of Kinross Gold Corp.
Frederick Felder, M.Sc., P.Geo.
Executive Vice President
Mr. Felder has more than 30 years of exploration experience and has worked for Soquem, Union Miniere, Umex and Granges Inc. He has been managing the Angostura project since early 1999.
David Newbold, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Newbold is a UK chartered accountant with over 36 years of international experience in mining and finance. Newbold holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom. Newbold spent eleven years (1995-2006) at Placer Dome Inc. where he held positions of increasing responsibility including Senior Vice President, Commercial; Senior Vice President Strategy, Placer Dome America; President & CEO, Zaldivar Copper Mine; and Senior Vice President and CFO, Placer Dome Latin America. Prior to Placer Dome David spent several years at Outokumpu holding various finance positions.
Peter Miller
Treasurer
Peter Miller obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of Waterloo in 1970 and was granted the designation of Chartered Accountant from the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1974. Since May 1997, Mr. Miller has been and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Ionic Management Corp., a private management company. Mr. Miller is currently a director and/or officer of various other public companies.
Sandra Lee
Corporate Secretary
Sandra Lee is a certified legal assistant. Since May 2009, she has been the Corporate Secretary of Quest Capital Corp., a mortgage investment corporation which trades on the TSX and NYSE Amex. Ms. Lee is also Corporate Secretary of Ionic Management Corp., a private management company and is an officer of several other public companies.
Brian Bayley, MBA
Lead Independent Director
Mr. Bayley is Co-Chairman of Quest Capital Corp., an AIM, TSX and Amex-listed Mortgage Investment Corporation serving Canadian real estate markets. Mr. Bayley holds an MBA from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario and is also a director and/or officer of numerous other public companies.
German del Corral, B.Sc
Independent Director
Mr. del Corral is a mining and metallurgical engineer with over 30 years of mineral experience and is currently an international advisor for several companies. Previously, Mr. del Corral was Cuba Project Director for WMC Ltd., as well as President of BHP Billiton Ltd.'s Cerro Matoso S.A. in Colombia. Mr. del Corral was also a consultant for the World Bank from 1993-to-1995
Emil Morfett, B.Sc (Geology), M.Sc. (Mineral Exploration), C.Eng.

Mr. Morfett is a Mining Research Consultant and the Managing Director of Millstone Grit Limited, a private consulting company. Previously he was Vice President, Head of Mining Research for JP Morgan in London and the Global mining analyst for Bank Paribas. Mr. Morfett received his M.Sc. in Geology from Queens University, Canada in 1984 and worked for Rio Tinto in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia and for Goldfields of South Africa before moving back to his native London.
Richard Robinson
Independent Director
Richard Robinson was formerly Chief Executive Officer of Gold Fields Limited (1997-1998) and an executive director of Gold Fields of South Africa Ltd (GFSA). During his tenure, Robinson led the successful merging of GFSA's and Gencor Ltd.'s gold assets to form Gold Fields Limited. In addition, at various times during his career at Gold Fields, Robinson had executive responsibility for gold operations, gold exploration, international operations, the base metals and coal operations, and all group commercial activities. Following Gold Fields, Robinson became Managing Director of Normandy LaSource SAS (1998-2001), a joint venture between Normandy Mining Limited of Australia and the French State, with interests in Africa, Europe, Middle East and CIS. Robinson was responsible for the unbundling and restructuring of the joint venture to focus on precious metals with concurrent management of its gold operations, exploration and development projects. Currently, Robinson is a Director of Recylex SA, a Euronext listed company involved in base metal recycling, refining and high purity special metals and Crew Gold Corporation, a Toronto and Oslo listed company involved in gold mining in Guinea. Robinson recently stepped down as Chairman of the Board of Metalor Technologies International SA following the sale of the company to private equity.
